Liam Josiah Arrives...

The fact that we are supposed to stay in the house and out of the hospital means Julie and I are becoming creative in how we continue to keep in touch with our school family.

Since you probably find yourself equally in search of ways to occupy your days, If you go to this link. You’ll see many videos in chronological order.  They do not directly impact your lives, but they are Enoch’s new reality and he is handling things in admirable ways. You’ll also see a beautiful drawing he made for Kim. It is precious. He calls it “Heartstrings” because in China they believe that the fingers are directly connected to the heart.

That drawing will make more sense after you watch the video called “Liam Josiah Arrives,”a video I made for my family the day before Liam’s first surgery. Please consider that private as my daughter Kim has chosen not to watch it yet. (She is like me and easily moved, but it is not a sad video. It’s meant to be hopeful—especially if we imagine that the lyrics may reflect God’s wish for all of us.)

The other videos in the post called Videos from Calvary just show you what life is like for educators trying to keep current with their families. Calvary is a very special place. It is no mystery to God why Enoch came here to be a part of this surreal chain of events.
